I have been keeping an eye on a pair of Powerful Owls for many years now and in 2014 it became obvious that the male had lost his mate.

The good news is that he has found a new mate and they have successfully bred resulting in two delightful chicks seen in this photo. It won't be long before they fledge by the look of their plumage.
